How Do They Work?
We start by passing high-pressure steam through a converging-diverging nozzle, transforming its pressure energy into speed. This high-speed jet then pulls in vapors or gases from the suction chamber and mixes them in the mixing chamber. After that, the mixture flows through the diffuser, where we convert the velocity back into pressure, allowing for discharge at a level that sits comfortably between suction and motive pressure.

Combining Air Ejector and Liquid Ring Pump Technology

By integrating an atmospheric air ejector into the suction line or right at the pump inlet, we can achieve impressive pressures as low as 4 torr, with a close-off at 3 torr—all without cranking up power consumption.

– Maintaining stable operation even when seal water temperatures fluctuate
How It Works
- We start by drawing in motive air at atmospheric pressure and speeding it up through a nozzle.
- This high-speed air then pulls in process vapors at the suction inlet.
- The resulting mixture is compressed and sent to the liquid ring vacuum pump, which further compresses it to atmospheric discharge pressure.
System Optimization with Optional Bypass
In larger systems or during boosting operations, we can add a bypass arrangement to prevent performance dips caused by throttling effects or ineffective nozzle action at sub-critical pressures. This keeps your overall capacity intact and stops unwanted air from leaking through the ejector nozzle.
